There's a bit of wordplay with Tamaya that I didn't see mentioned:

Tamaya is what you shout at fireworks going off.
Tama(brandname)+ya(shop)
In Tokyo pitch accent, proper nouns are usually pronounced with the heiban pattern: L H H
and there is no other heiban reading of tama or tamaya, than the fireworks thing

But here they use a different accent, so it no longer sounds like a proper noun.
They use atamadaka instead, where the first ta is accented on its lonesome: H L L
in Tokyo pitch accent, tama pronounced with the atamadaka means jewel/precious-thing
and -ya comes off as a poetic vocative Oh!
as in Oh jewel! or My precious!

In terms of how this was transliterated in to english.
We add vowels to the end of words all the time, so extra vowels at the end is a bit useless for distinguishing accents
But you could add vowels to the first or second syllable to show where the accent is
So heiban (and odaka), would not elongate anything but the last syllable Tamayaaaaa
But atamadaka, the first syllable getting accented gets transliterated to Taaaamayaaaa or Ta-mayaaa
Which is what the three stooges keeps shouting
(For completeness, nakadaka would be Tamaaayaaaa, but no words would match that accent in this case)
