I'm surprised Gilbert is dead. I didn't remember Lindsay, but she showed up back in chapter 158 as well. It looks like Anthony mostly only brought Shadows to the conflict, and left most of the humans behind, but that relief team that lost their hand had red blood and actual flesh, so there was at least a few humans there. I imagine the soot train arrangement that King signed for is presaging the return of Maryrose and those three that went out before.

"Lesson One: Do not underestimate your seniors!
Lesson Two: Do not show mercy to the enemy!
Lesson Three: Hide your true powers as much as possible!"


Something tells me that won't be the last time we'll be reminded of those lessons during this rebellion....
