the prince is turning 6? as in he's currently 5? im hoping thats a mistranslation, this genre has always struggled understanding what children are like but wow. Bell gets a pass bc shes a reincarnator but even the smartest 5-6 year olds are still struggling with big words and complicated ideas/emotions. keeping their attention for long is difficult and theyre still going to have big physical reactions to big emotions. even accounting for abuse the prince acts 10 at the youngest, a 5 year old wouldn't have that developed an understanding of their own abuse and the futility of resisting, nor the impulse control to resist reacting so fully.
