The water fountain was a bit of a waste, since she already had perfectly good water from an underground water source. Also, she'll probably be able to use magic soon enough... just a hunch.

The fountain was installed at the outpost in the wilderness, where she is housing the kids. The water source you're thinking of, is at the top of the mountain, where her house is.

Isn't the dragon cub like a split body of the ancient dragon? I wonder how that works, do they share the same sould or something?

Oh hey, so the dragon is finally meeting her next chapter. Hopefully, it'll have good control of its mana.

Remember guys, nutrition is extremely important to a child's growth so it's quite understandable if the children are a bit shorter in the middle ages where food is a lot more scarced compared to today.

Her outpost got a bunch of spirits too and one of the first things that popped up was a puddle from underground water.

"I cannot use magic," says the woman who just summoned a house from her iPad and erects city-scale permanent magical barriers on a regular basis.

(Like I realise she may be correct within the kids' culture in reference to whatever implied specific fantasy word is being translated as "magic" which might have a much more narrow and technical definition to them. Sure. But... XD)
