I don't know if Haimiya will let him get away with just that. The fact that the author had Haimiya and the little sister call him out on his behavior this quickly gives me hope that the resolution will also be more involved than that.

Interesting way to resolve this sort of formulaic conflict. Like how we actually get this whole chapter about cockcruncher2000 thinking it through and realizing why she was upset. Usually, it feels like the MCs in these sorts of things just go "huh, she was upset. I guess I shouldn't have done that." Like, even if they reach the same conclusion either way, that "I wasn't thinking about her feelings," the way this manga does it just feels a bit more interesting.

Also, cockcruncher2000 plays the guitar?! That kind of showed up out of nowhere... Maybe it'll become relevant in an upcoming chapter, and this is to set it up as a "thing" he does? So that it doesn't show up out of nowhere in the chapter where it matters. Assuming that chapter exists, I wonder what it will be about? Haimiya goes to a random bar and sees cockcruncher2000 preforming live on the stage there, shredding bars buck-naked save for a stark-white mascarade mask while the crowd cheers for the second coming of Jesus Christ?

I have a habit of doing this too a bit and am slowly trying to get out of that way of thinking even though it's fucking tough, but it isn't caring so little about the time spent, it's that he cares about her image more.
