Honestly, one of my favourite comics. Badass FMC who stays badass; the socially-awkward but cheerful couple; their implicit attitude of "we'll just both take the best of both gender roles thank you" / "What are social rules, why should we heed them when we're happier doing our own thing"? It's brilliant.
Alas, the webnovel translation doesn't quite do it for me in the same way (though even then I'm glad it at least let me read past the silly emotional cliffhanger at the end of the manwha). It's not because it's a loose adaptation—in fact, the scenes in the manhwa seem pretty much beat-for-beat dead-on to the webnovel, beat for beat. Which is possible because of how terse and direct the writing is. It's still charming, but I feel some of the same sort of not-fleshed-out-ness that I get when I read the script for a movie or a play. But... your mileage may vary!
