I remember the author dealing with tropes that would normally be very annoying and drawn-out in a very nice way. I don't remember anything specific because most of that was two years ago, but I do remember something like that. Because of that, I trust the author somewhat and am still holding on to a sliver of hope that the author will have the two of them sit down and talk out her jealousy problem.
