Hmmm tbh this is making me feel like Hayami is more demiromantic in this case at this point. Compared to the childhood friend, Ayumu has constantly been willing to go at Hayami’s pace of comfortability. Not forcing too much to make her uncomfortable while clearly communicating what she wants as long as it’s appropriate.
She shows her emotions and love earnestly without any pretense of “this is how it’s supposed to be/this is how you’re supposed to feel towards me” that the childhood friend does
Ayumu can be really smooth sometimes. "Only one of you" is honestly a next-level rizz move.
I don't know why I enjoy this manga so much: the characters are simple, the art is not incredible, and the story structure is basic. Yet, there is something about lesbian idiots that makes me smile every chapter, even if nothing important happens at all.
