i think the whole point of this manga is to be a b-tier story parody of parodies i suppose, neat read, not too deep not too shallow

It's been a while since I've read something edgy and melodramatic. It certainly gives an amateurish nostalgia feeling of the late '00s to early '10s, at least for me.

If I had read this manga as a teen, I would have enjoyed it a lot more than now. The message I got from this story was a "coming of age" of sorts: coming to terms with reality, maturing and growing up, deciding what to do in life, etc.

Overall the story was average and the hypothesis at the end was so irrelevant, used only to tie up loose ends so the world building remained coherent.

I thought this story was pretty alright. It kinda lost me a bit in the middle with all the intense meta-narrative talk but wrapped up well enough that I'm satisfied.

Utsue Shishiruirui Messatsu Death Road.

Anyways, yeah, neat story. I've definitely seen better executions of this idea before, but I've also seen worse. For what it's worth, this one feels pretty authentic; You can kind of tell that the author was excited to tell this story. And I do think it managed to sort-of touch on what really makes these sorts of meta-narratives interesting here at the end, but too little too late, you know?
