But the idea that the Fibonacci sequence can actually apply to that many things is as ridiculous as those guys who just slap the golden ratio on everything and call it a day. Sure, it can correlate sometimes (like how the golden ratio does fit for the seed patterns on a sunflower), but there is not as common as people make it out to be. It's just one of those things that people like to say.
