Against Ono’s mom, she was fighting for Akira and Haruo’s sake. with the worst character against the strongest. She had no leeway to play nice. Also, haruo was at stake. she winning by crushing Ono-sama was her way to say that she didnt want to be Akira’s replacement in Haruo’s life. She loved him enough (which he never deserved in first place) to protect his love for Akira.

Against Felicia, they were fair fights between two friends, and the best one always won. Felicia didnt retire because Koharu-chan crushed her, but because she lost the “Alpha” position in the group and the boys started to flirt with her, and that annoyed her. That’s why they are still best friends after so many years.

and Arisu… that punk was a grown up guy using his money to bully kids. Koharu just gave him the beatdown he deserved.

And now, she is not trying to humilliate spice, but trying to rescue him fron his own darkness.

Was half joking about the sadist part. For the most part she was actually just putting in all of her effort out of respect on her opponents. Just that on the opponent perspectives the sheer skill level difference was what crushed them especially when they were serious with their game and knowing how difficult the feats were.

More joking part is that Haruo also called her a sadist. But that was because she banned him from playing during his exam preparations (and also learning that she still visits the arcade sometimes when he is banned )

Nah bro you miss remember it a bit, nobody on the arcade hits on Hidaka because she's so intimidating for them, that is the ideal self that Felicia wants to be.
When she got stomped with the infinite by Hidaka, she realized that her ideal self is out of her reach and thats why she eventually settles.

I meant that the guys started to hit on Felicia when she stopped looking out of reach. And she disliked that.

Man, i really want to get to the arc where Koharu remembers the trip to L.A. with Haruo. Because he was as clueless as a nerd starring a shonen manga can be. And Akira didnt helped in the least. So im really curious about how that worked in the end.
