Hmm...the "Dragon Fang Spell" mentioned on page 9 might be a reference to a couple of Greek myths; Cadmus in one, and Jason (the one with the Argonauts) in the other, each planted dragon's teeth, and from each tooth sprang up a mighty warrior.
