It's very funny that he's using the flaws that exist so that the video game can actually be fun and playable to turn the Priestess against the goddess. Why hasn't the goddess shared her power with more people? Because the developers didn't want to program in more characters. Why is the hero party so poor and has to work so hard to gain money? Because the game wouldn't be fun if you just started out with max level items from the get-go and a huge sum of money. Why isn't same-sex marriage legal? Because it was a game made by a bunch of people in the 90s. Why does the goddess fight against the heroes? Because the developers just wanted to put in a really cool secret boss.

Regardless, he still makes valid points about the world they live in. The church is greedy and won't use their vast wealth to help the people, or the heroes. The goddess is stingy and won't empower a human army to face the demon army. And if the heroes grow too powerful, the goddess will attempt to smite her chosen warriors before they get uppity(I assume with suitably evil dialog).

If I recall, the tie-in content for the game reveals that all the characters come to a bad end after the credits roll.
Because the developers actively hate their creations? Or the developers wanted to emphasize that they are not fighting for a just world?


Honestly, we don't even know why the whole demon-human war started. It's entirely possible the demons are justified and the entire game is the player taking the wrong side.

According to chapter 23, page 19, it's a demon soul that "dropped from the demon Yuri defeated earlier". So most likely one of those winged demons that Yuri and Isami killed in chapter 22.
Or Ricola lied and it's a different demon soul that Ashnold gave her earlier.

First you use Fior and then Feo? フィオールさん literally says Fioru-san//Fior-san and not Feo-san.

Even when you used just Feo, the raw said フィオ, which is still not Feo, but Fio.

Page 57 too but that one isn't that important.
