This just makes me hate the fact that Himari can't win even more. not that I dislike Akane as much as others do, but Himari is clearly best girl and it's not even like she lost, she never had a chance to begin with.

The longer this goes on, the more I kind of dislike Himari. In any other story she'd be the best girl, but every time she makes a move on Saito it just reminds me that she's trying to get with her best friend's husband, and has acknowledged that said friend is in love with him.

I'd say Himari never truly loved him the same way Akane does. She wanted him to be a replacement for the love her parent's didn't give. Funnily enough, that IS what Saitou needs, but she's not it. He doesn't need someone who does everything he wants
