Out of all the bullshit misunderstandings, this one was by far the worst one.

This is so god damn annoying, he hasn't even confirmed WHO she like and he's acting like it's confirmed fact.

Also, I'm still not even sure if she ever even met the man he thinks she's head over heels for.

God dammit this is soo annoying and longwinded for no good reason, who even likes these type of misunderstanding, when they go on for this long, genuinely?

thanks for chapter

Harold should noticed already that the "force" from the game is inexistant apparently
I think he has, but he's still not really in a position to do anything about it. After all, while he did avert several crises that significantly impacted the plot and would eventually lead to game!Harold's downfall, he was also implicated as a traitor in the process due to his tactics.

And the person who saved him is the final boss, who's using him as a guinea pig for a sword that effectively absorbs Harold's life force. And despite his stay of execution, society at large still considers him a traitor.

With that hanging over him, acknowledging that he has a thing for Erica and that she reciprocates would do little but put her family in hot water.

I feel there might be a misunderstanding here
This is one case where the misunderstanding is better than reality. Or at least Harold's reality. I wish Erica would drag Harold out of his head and force him into her reality.

Honestly that's not such a bad idea now that I think about it. Harold would do well to have someone by his side that won't let him get caught up in his own head. For all his posturing the child has more social ineptitude than me. I have to wonder if his whole "I'm forced to act rude because that's the original character." thing affects his own perception as well. In which case again, he could REALLY benefit from having a strong relationship built on trust and love and having that person by his side constantly dragging him down to Earth. Harold is supposed to be working to keep himself from dying, but it feels like he's lost that plot and is now putting far, far too much on himself trying to make sure everyone else has the best ending.
