Yeah the name is quite difficult, then i just give up just making it literal
No yeah, that's fair.

I'm very much talking out my ass here (using little more than google translate, google images, and some guesswork), but assuming it's 土龍 ("earth dragon") and 水草 ("water grass", which seems to be pretty much any aquatic plant), one could at best try something like "earth dragon kelp" ...which is still a bit of a mouthful and it turns the rather generic "water grass" into a specific plant, a decision that could come back and bit one in the ass.
There's really no good choice here, so keeping things simple and leaving it literal is probably the right choice.

Now it makes me wonder if you could wound a dragon and force it into a contract against its own will using its blood. :thonk:
Well, that was the plan 'til he decided the sap could (potentially*) be an issue. This druglord doesn't fuck around.
* Kinda wish he tried regardless. You know, see if fluids other than blood would work. No ulterior motives, I swear.

I see what you're saying, but I was thinking more of a situation where the dragon is awake and actively hates the human. Can the human still wound the dragon and force it into a contract? A sleeping dragon might not be able to resist, but would an awake one be able to?

...That's a good point, yeah

He's gonna go bald making all those claws.
He's using hair because it doesn't take much energy to regrow it, if it came down to actually going bald, or investing some more energy, he'd probably use some other method. He's technically a spirit dragon already, he could probably use his actual arms and legs for materials and still regrow them.

here i thought he'd aweaken the anima-plant type dragon. imaging forcing a contract on someone asleep, that's not exactly "dragons first".

on another note though:
will we ever see a guild levelup and the guild fairy ever again? i feel he did get quite a few new companions since he obtained lv3 and the ring. or did the author loose interest in that plot driver?
