No, you misunderstood me. I meant that that phrase to my understanding is used when someone has the wrong understanding of a subject, especially a falsely positive one, and you’re bursting that “bubble” by correcting it with truth. So as a crude example if someone said “person A is such a nice family man!” you might burst their bubble by providing evidence of the multiple times they’ve cheated on their spouse.

When it’s ALL just subjective opinions, everyone is just in their own bubbles. Until someone comes around wielding evidence, and starts bursting those bubbles. =)
