This is another one of those stories where the MC is incompetent at something important to them but it's clear they've never put any real effort into being good. Just a entitled little shit. Guy is an aspiring pianist but has terrible finger dexterity. There are numerous ways to train your finger dexterity to a pretty good level even if you lack natural flexibility. He must not be doing any or he wouldn't be such shit at it.
