Why not? Did you forget this sensei is the very person who split the main character group, leaving Kanae specifically in the hands of the goons, while he took Sunny and Yuu elsewhere. Then he only reappeared when the goons were losing the fight against Sunny. He knew 100% what those guys were up to, but he allowed it because Sanae was an outsider and could be sacrificed to placate the security group. This guy deserves no merciful words.

Honestly I did forget that so you really ain't wrong. Both him and Noriko are trash but I felt the tiniest bit bad cause I've never seen someone bluntly say "Hey bro, your girl is about to get fucked. Just let it happen cause its for the best." even if they deserved it.
