itching to see how this'll evolve out of it's action-oriented premise, or if it ever will. (I'm in for whatever asano has in store.) also in love with those jumpy jumpy boots.

Like it: the visuals, the character design, the ambiance, and the story looks quite good. Pretty dark but not depressing. I'll follow that one.
I always find interesting parts in Asano Inio's mangas, but there are always also parts the prevent me to be fully interested. Here, I was hooked at soon as the first chapter, probably because the author seems more invested in his characters, while I felt detached in his previous work.

Asano-sensei has this as a whole critique about capitalism and the objectification of human beings and complaining, as he always has, that people have to work if they want to eat; yet rich people exist which bum him out, because they don't seem to work as hard as he does, so he has to make a "clorets" manga commercial occasionally and it pisses him off that his art and stories have to be commoditized.... it's all so tiring. If the guy wants to make art for art's sake, he should just do that.

"Genius artist is an eccentric harboring inconsistent philosophies."

In other news, fork found in kitchen.
