I think it's because it would be too OP and the MC needs a challenge first I mean not only does her ability allow her to go wherever she wants but she's also strong in close combat and so far instant death seem to work on visual targets so she could possibly bypass instant death and his sisters shield..... or because the author knows she has fans and wants to tease her fanbase lol.
