Or just drop the very unnecessary isekai theme and just be... you know?... a fantasy story?
But at this point all mangaka know that isekai is very popular in japan so they just shoehorn in it even when it doesn't contribute anything to the story.

I want to like this anime but the MC personality is driving me crazy. He is a coward that gets scared of every monster but still ends up killing them because of his OP stats. I just want him to have more of a backbone and a better understanding of his strength/abilities so he stops wetting himself in front of every monster despite being insanely more powerful than anything he will face. For instance, if he is so concerned about holy magic accidentally destroying the snakes poison than why not just use a different element. he was already told by god that he can use any type of magic.

Meh. I give it 6/10.

The MC feels very passive; often, the only reason he does stuff is because a God personally tells him it's a good idea.
This manga features the very laziest form of Isekai; memory loss just enough that he can tell that he's from another world, but not enough to actually have a personality.

Did he do anything to deserve his awesome powers? Not as far as anyone can tell; it just happened.

My take is that the author did zero planning and is just flying by the seat of his pants.
Giving the MC a backstory would take work, so he didn't do it.
