Real talk on author's afterward: You don't have to do things so strictly or in a dedicated manner.

It's ultimately a balance between time used and its intended effect.

Basically, if you are gaming or watching some videos, get up and do some bodyweight squats every so often; set of 5 to 10 to start. Maybe that and a stretch or 2 when you get up for a drink or to use restroom.

For eating right, a multivitamin supplement is a good place to start if you just eat carbs. You can look into dietary fibre or other specific mineral supplements later. And well, if protein is a concern, get some frozen preprepped chicken/ meat/ seafood products.

Doing one of those every couple or few days, for the additional couple or few minutes is still a lot more than thinking about a drastic (and often difficult) longterm life change that you never start. Or if you do start, fall off on quickly, since it's too harsh. 2 minutes some 110 times a year does add up.

And once you start getting used to it (which also takes time for your body and mind to adjust to), you can take another gradual step. Maybe some pushups and pullups/inverted rows to work your upper body. Maybe you'll learn to cook a delicious meal or two, and these meals use a bit less salt or something.

Takes time to get accustommed to changes, and time to actually implement those changes. Don't make that difficult if you don't have to. (/You aren't being paid to)

You'll be a step closer to what you thought was ideal, so you'll then be able to judge if your ideal is better or not too.
