Just because he waited until she was "of age", doesn't dispute that fact. If anything, that's Grant being socially aware, and how inappropriate immediate action would have been.

Nor does the setting itself ostensibly mean anything, when the author can handwave any facet of that time period away for the sake of convenience in telling their story. It's not like the rest of this is playing super tight to the time period it's loosely inspired by.

From what i get, that Guy while was interested in Alicia because of her personality when she was young, didn't approach her specifically because she was too young at that time, suggesting that he was in no way sexually interested in her back then.

On the one hand: The presence of this trope in and of itself does not irk me.
On the other hand: Having spent (as of now) 4 whole chapters without approaching a resolution to this love triangle absolutely does irk me—particularly when we have to wait months between chapters. It is entirely possible that we'll get 4 more chapters of this, at which point we'll have spent more than half of the manga's run-time on something people dislike.
Finally: I actually really appreciate the whole “romance between a commoner and a noble-woman is by no means a trivial thing to achieve” angle. But not like this!

I read this manga for a story about a guy getting doted on by an apparently-frigid noble-woman. Can we get back to that sooner rather than later, please?

Why are people so outraged? I strongly doubt the story will really have the political marriage go through. What’s wrong with the MC being realistic about the situation right now? Honestly you can be mad at the trope but the only reason she's not going to get married is plot armor. MC is a servant I really don't think people understand this , like it was laid out what would happened a couple of chapters ago and people are still pissed at him. Like if this wasn't a manga where things will work out , he would be the only logical one. He's a commoner and he has no way to get to her level so that they can be together. It's really that simple

there is a way though, she could refuse this guy, marry to a noble who doesn't care about her at all with the condition that she will take on her servant as a lover (similar to male nobles getting mistresses) and he is free to do so as well, and then get it on with MC.
It's perfectly possible, and it's like how the entire 'bastard child' thing came to be.
