Wouldn't that be easier if she didn't quit? Unless she already accepted a new job elsewhere, to replace this one, and has no choice but to quit. She might still be able to give Ultos a little bit attention on the side, depending on how tight her schedule is. She's probably already teaching a few students here and there since she's clearly not working full time at the Randall estate.

She originally was going to quit cuz Scumultros was terrible, so she came by to let him know she's quitting and also to tell him about his magic. She hasn't yet met the new Ultros (non scummy version) until this chapter. She then saw how much good guy Ultros didn't want the power of his legendary magic, and mistakenly thought that Scumultros knew he was super talented and thus was trying to push people away, and it reminded her of herself since she was a genius and lonely too. So she changed her mind and is no longer going to quit being her tutor.
