How much longer can they drag this story out ? Also the only reason any of these plans work is that Karin is comically and unrealistically a POS. Like it’s fine to see someone like her get what they deserve, but this is not how most asshole acts. Like what can the Aoi even do to her at this point?

Quite a bit, I'd assume. If I was the author and I want to drag the series out, after the point where Karin hits rock bottom I would do a time skip and then a role reversal. Basically Karin would be the one seeking vengeance next. That would let the series stay on theme and would also drive the whole “Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.” quote.
