Love all the goofball blurbs we're suddenly doing fully in Japanese on a translation website.

That's fucking Mangadex for you. So insistent on de-translating titles that I had to pickup a browser extension to rename them back into English: https://wordreplacermax.com/
It's so fucking stupid. This website exists for non-Japanese speakers and some lunatic got a hair up their ass and felt they needed to make the website harder to use. For what purpose?

It hasn't, though. Not quite like this.

It always felt like multiple people were warring with each other over how to format things here, but reason would usually win out. Lately, it feels like the side that made sense gave up.

"Choose language of titles" was a planned feature back in 2018 or 19, they just never got around to it

know they were pulling this nonsense back in 2020 because i was complaining on their discord about it

Yeah, but see, I've been around just as long and have also complained about some of the shit they do here on their Discord, to absolutely no avail, years ago.

They've always done this. It just feels a lot more uniform and widespread lately.

Interesting pen name from the author, checking their twitter and they live in France and are obsessed with noblewomen with elaborate gowns and perfume
