I well and truly hope that Mayu, in her continued involvement with Mom-senpai, doesn't lose her humanity.
Because she might be all that stands between her friend and a grisly demise, if Mom-senpai decides that Rin-chan's "a problem" for her own plots involving Mayu.

This series is gripping, though. I want nothing but the best for Mayu, but she's dealing with The Abyss now--and everyone around her is in ever-increasing passive danger, the longer this goes on.
