It's not often the plot develops in a way I dislike so much that I drop the series, but this is one of those times. What an absolute clusterfuck, and there is no reason it should have been a clusterfuck. It had such good initial potential too, I liked both the ML and the FL, and I have a soft spot for the age gap childhood friend trope. But now I can already see where this is going, and it's going to be absolute torment to read through.

I am rereading and i can promise is not as tormenting as you think it will be, the story is short and has some bumps but it does have a sweet feeling to it. It's not unfair, it just seasoned to feel a bit hurtful sometimes but it's rewarding once things settle
