Of course the waifu guy would intentionally pick the duel disk with the side effect of actually hurting the user for higher quality version waifus. What an absolute lunatic.
As if many other waifu players won’t do the same if they could.

Also Ghost Sister Chan: Don't call me Mizuki!!

Happy to see Ghost Sister get a good showing, considering how often she's written off

TCG players actually wanted her banned at one point because of how powerful she was in time rules. You would side her in on game 3 going 2nd and win by time because you had more life points.

Wait, the tenpai guy talks in Mahjong terms, when he refers to the deck, it should've been Wall and not Pile

I was going to say this lmfao, that battle phase was so extra and accurate to the anime.

Seriously, whoever at Konami and/or anime staff who said that "accurate OCG/TCG representation would be boring" was completely wrong, this is peak.
Tbf that's because the manga just skips the five minute solitaire combos betwern each cool part of the duel and sticks a flowchart at the end of the chapter. Hard to do that in an anime

Nah, you could definitely do that in an anime. Anime all the time would put in a little display transition screen before cutting to commercial, they could just do that instead. Have like a soft infographic style where they display the card and then highlight the vital text that leads to combo and transition between each card in sort of Duel Logs style. It would be tough to do for decks like Genex which combo for an hour, but most decks should be able to explain it in a minute or two.

Or they could have an end of episode scene where the characters explain the mainline combo so it doesn't break the flow of the episode, kind of like how shows do a "mini theatre" except instead of the JJK curses in High School or the Yuru Camp cast explaining camping, they explain Fiendsmith Combo and its application in Muskets.
