Aye. Everybody probably thinks he just sleeps a lot: goes to sleep at 9PM and wakes up at 9AM. In reality he'd be out there from 12AM to 4AM, or so, depending on the specific task and goal he has set for himself.

When the pathway was opened to bring him to the fantasy world, who says the pathway was only one way? When he got brought to the fantasy world, something else could have went through to the modern world, something that created the curse. It had been one month since he disappeared, and it seems to have been about one month since the zambambo issue started (based on earlier chapters), so I can't help but sense a connection.

Maybe he's on a gamer's sleep schedule, or like in a Stardew Valley game, just get to sleep before 2am and you're fine the next morning.
