I decided to read the WN to know what happens next. It's not long, only 57 chapters, without an update since 2023. If you want to do so, too, starting from chapter 38 is recommended, since while it does retread the end of this manga chapter, there's more info in there.
I might re-read it from the start at some point.

Spoiler: Yayoi and her bully of a son:

Turns out that the hag sicked her son on MC to make his life miserable, and the son was blindly trusting her(?). She also was a ruthless S-ranker, who worked at the Dungeon Management Ministry, so he was afraid of not following her.
His main reason to keep at it, though, was because he was surrounded by yes-men, and nobody ever stopped him (some teachers did try, but were stopped by his mom), so he thought everything was alright.
The bully, during the online harrassment as well as after other collaborators cut him off, eventually realized that the MC had it much worse, and started seeing his ex-target in a different light.
Why did the hag target MC? For her own peace of mind, since he resembled his just father too much, to my understanding.

Spoiler: Yayoi's plan, MC's dad's death, and the fight:

The hag's plan was to appear at MC's and Miru's livestream, steal her smartphone, disclose the girl's real name, and tell everyone about her father's hit-and-run from about 10 years ago (or 5?), which killed 8 people, in hopes of tarnishing her reputation and forcing MC to stop the collaboration.
MC realized that the reason behind Miru's recklessness was her wanting to compensate the families of the deceased, especially when popularity was fleeting. The chat also sympathised with the girl, and one user claiming to be such a relative confirmed that they were getting money from her, and wished for her to live her own life.
Hag went on to end the livestream, summoned 3 dudes to kill the two off.

That's when she said that the reason behind his dad's murder was because he learned a secret - that they made a powerful monster as a test subject.
With that failing, she summoned dragons, which were also defeated. Then she summoned the test subject, which had a powerful barrier, and the sheer power that could affect outside world. At that point, Miru managed to start an audio-only livestream. The two tried to fight, but it was useless.
The ex-bully was listening to the livestream and decided to join MC in fighting against his mother as an attempt at atonement, even if it cost his life. Distro (the one, who warned about Yayoi) also decided to join.
After the ex-bully joined, the hag was rattled upon seeing him slip from her control. When she learned that the livestream resumed and she was being blasted online, with no way of keeping it under wraps, she started summoning monsters of all kinds. The four made a quick plan, and put it into action.
Thanks to the ex-bully, who destroyed the barrier (but not before getting very badly injured due to having worse equipment), MC could wipe out the monsters.
After the fight, there was a short exchange, then the police, reporters, and streamers arrived. She was arrested and interrogated.

The direct aftermath was Miru's reputation not only being unscathed, but improving.
The hag ended with hers completely destroyed.
The reception of ex-bully's actions during the fight was mixed, with some believing he did it just to restore his reputation. Unlike before, when he would cower in fear, he was taking the jeers in stride.

This covers up to chapter 53. Out of 57.

Miru and MC had a heart to heart, with her telling him a bit more about her circumstances (namely how impactful the hit-and-run was to them, too). She decided to live her life, especially thanks to the deceased's families telling her not to worry anymore.
The two decided to try to uncover the Dungeon Management Ministry's darkness. The girl also decided for them to become a 'pretend couple' (since MC was way too dense at her hint to wanting to become more than just business partners).

Chapter 55 marks the end of WN's volume 1, with a news report of a suspicious person resembling a goblin attacking a pedestrian.

The next part starts off with MC getting an award from the Prime Minister, followed by their short chat in public. PM secretly passed a paper during the handshake to MC. The paper contained a date and place to meet, and a phone number call in order to arrange a different date if he couldn't make it. It was also written that Miru could come with him.
He went there together with Miru. It turned out to be a secret dungeon, with PM already inside.

The last chapter ends before they entered said dungeon, and with an announcement of a LN release.
To date, there are 2 LN volumes, with the last one being released little over a year ago. Is the series complete? Abandoned/on hiatus? IDK.

Jesus...that MILF is insane, truly insane.
Her hate towards MC made absolutely no sense, his father ignored her advances, he had a happy family when she gave away her body for quick money and power, and believed she could get back with the guy she discarded.
She killing him for discovering the secret and not being "scorned"...in a way it wasn't personal, still disgusting but less tha nsimply doing it for rage.
But organizing to destroy MC just because he resembled his father, and then again and again because he doesnt't want his kid to have a nice life, with the added crimes she should get life or death penalty, but is more useful alive to the government, that seems to be separated from the guild by your summary.

And for the light novel...unfortunately is probably a dead project, only 2 books and nothing new in 2 years, 2 or 3 volumes is the deadpoint for stories that don't sell.
I can't see a web novel around, could be a original paper project, given the quality it seems like the publisher gambled and lost, don't know the novel but the manga is average, or even below the line.

The manga is still getting published, could be because they hope in people taking up the novel, could last another 10 chapters or end soon.

Yeah...I just finished checking the raws, story is in its last chapter, very dissapoinitng finale from what I'm seeing.
Last chapter is 20, now the raws are at 20.1, so should be at most a month before its over.
They tried by keeping it up for a bit longer, but there wasn't much to do.
Even tried to introduce a male rival, some fuckboy interested in the main girl, stalked the couple for a bit and even tried to assault them with a pocket knife, you know is shit plot when a mob gives S rank adventurers trouble.
It even tried to add another female lead, the witch on the cover, but she have a coupel pages, and the girl with big boobs in the aphodisiac plant chapter didn't appear anymore.
