To add more to that, he said it so non-chalantly. While I am more of a Lone Wolf most of the time, but if I am leading a group of survivors and we encounter a strong newcomer and he does some very hard lifting around the group that casually killed a person who we imprisoned that wronged us and he casually admits that he kills people too? I would be worried too in keeping him. What says that he won't do what that prisoner had done to us? He is much stronger than us so stopping him will just kill us. Heck, you could even say that he would do worse things than the one he killed.
I would get paranoid for our group of survivors with him being around that I might just shoot him while he is distracted.

He absolutely is, but he also TOLD the leader of the group that he has killed before, it doesn't take a life or death situation for him to kill, something as the guy simple being a nuisance is all it takes, and he has no remorse about the people he kills. Why would you keep someone like that around? Him being a strong asset doesn't mean anything if he is just going to kill the people the leader is supposed to protect.
