I guess it's better than saying "The god revealed it all to me in a dream" and let that be the be-all and end-all, end of discussion trust me bro.
Trust me bro, an Angel of God delivered these words to me, and the Devil was there as a witness to the event, he even played a piece on his fiddle in celebration when I finished transcribing God's words.

"By collecting medical cases, then analyzing and evaluating them using medical and statistical methods"

Pray tell, were did you got the information behind statistical medical science to evaluate the speculative medical cases as a way to check how viable your book is?

And if the answer to that is "the god of medicine told me on a vision"

Then why is this new book about speculative medical cases, and not also a book on illnesses revealed to you in a vision from the god of medicine?

The methods everyone is going to use to review your book, also come from you dammit!

I don't know, I feel like underplaying it as speculation and theory might actually open it up to criticism as "unfounded nonsense" by some oldhead pharmacists who refuse to even attempt replicated results. Outing himself as an avatar of the medicinal god would probably prevent some problems down the line, but the author clearly doesn't want to do that so soon.

Constant revision and peer review! Scientific method and academic collaborations!! His dad was right, science is only as good as the people who live and breathe the art, you can't divorce the science from the people.

It also felt highkey self-sacrificial of him by playing it this way, and although I understand that he's trying to foster replicability and falsifiability in scientific findings (Popper's razor), I gotta wonder what the consequences would be with the way he put it.

Thanks for the chapter!
