Even though the two of them aren’t dating or engaged, they’re seriously so in sync here. Even MC’s friends are fully supporting them in case MC and Shuna eventually fall in love with each other :meguu:

Nah, I think it'll be more like at some point they'll have to deal with taxes, find out that married couples get tax breaks and they'll be married on paper and continue to act exactly the same until someone asks how their love life is going. Their reactions will probably be outright denial.. until they agree to try holding hands only to find out they hate it and go back to just their usual antics. They skipped straight past the dating and honeymoon phases lol

The extremely detailed recipe with illustrations and secret techniques worthy of being handed down for generations:

Dice assorted fruits
Put in bowl

I'm kinda bummed because macedonia is technically a recipe to avoid wasting fruits that are almost gone bad.
It's good but it's literally the last resort of fruit recipes.
Pretty much like anything with minced meat: mincing ruins the meat but it's a lot easier to preserve it or cook it when anything else is a no go.
You can really touch the modernity and city-life of these authors through the recipes they choose.

Welp not everyone will accurately study and make medieval dish.
There is a limit to a person repertoire about foods.

I'm just rambling, don't take it too seriously.

Nonetheless, I applaud the author for doing a minimum of research on recipes. Not because they are realistic, but because s/he is actually using a wider breadth of them than the average.
Most food-oriented works really only focus on a handful of them, mostly stuff like hamburger steak or rice folded over nine thousand times or soup.
And I get it, they're not paid enough to buy a recipe book with more than 20 pages, but maybe those people should also not make food a focus of their work and just depict battles or political intrigue.

Sure, drop all the pain on the heads of medievistic enthusiasts and reenactors XD

So the recepies are on the level of secret techniques.
Honestly I grow bored of the isekai cheat skills crap but in a cozy setting it works much better.
