10/10, literally couldn't put it down. Had a great ending too. Who was the dog and who was the scum though, it feels like it could be both of them.

the dog was the MC for being stupid, gullible and naive, and the scum is the FMC for being a liar and a whore (also the "best friend" who're just douchebag)

But the childhood friend was obsessed with the MC and had feelings for him like a dog, while the MC eventually killed him and took his girl like a scum. I think the title is clever because it could apply to both of them.
