Right?? Honestly, I was fully expecting her to walk in while she was on the phone and said Murata's name and for that to be the drop. Would it be a cliché as hell cliff hanger? You bet your ass it would, but I don't think I'd mind in this case because I'm so very interested in how it'll play out (even though I know how things eventually are gonna go cause spoilers in another chapter).

Yeah, when I read the Spanish I didn't realize boss lady was in the bathroom while she was on the phone with Murata. She called him Muratang closer to when she might have been coming out though so she might piece Muratang together later.

As long as you haven't written anything else to the drive after formatting it, here's a very good change you can recover the data: a regular 'formatting' removes the file allocation table, but does not actually touch the files on the disc.
Though if you used some other data deletion tool to 'format', or started writing files to the disc after formatting, chances go from slim to none.
