@welcome2atlantis Centipedes aren't insects. In the first place, one of the most obvious characteristics of the Insects class are the six legs. A centipede, as the name implies, doesn't have just six legs. A centipede belongs to a different class called Chilopoda. They are no closer to insects than we are to lizards.
