Oi, don't do that. Don't force a kiss on a passed out drunk
Normally I'd agree with you, but this time I say she deserved it. Two young people are eating and spending the evening together. One is barely above drinking age, one is well below. In this situation the one above is pretty rude to drink heedlessly in front of the one who can't, having all the fun herself, and subjecting him her drunken behavior. One beer for the meal means nothing, but she just kept drinking, knowing he can't do anything but helplessly watch. Who knows, maybe Nao wouldn't drink much even if he was older, his personality is pretty difficult to judge, in which case it would be okay, but she didn't really bother to think about it at all. She keeps limiting their romantic interactions because he's only 15, yet thinks nothing of getting wasted in front of the said underage person.

But then again, this is just my personal opinion.

Nope. You must never do anything to a drunk, drugged or an unconscious person, even if it's their own fault they're in this state.
That's what consent is about. And a drunk or drugged person is not in a proper state to give his or her consent.
I find indeed quite annoying that this story might suggest that there are situations where this is acceptable : it is not. Never.

What consent? He wouldn't have her consent in any case since she keeps saying he needs to turn 16 first. It was a payback, just like he was messing with her afterwards verbally. Nao is all the time in perfect control of himself. That's his personality that has been underlined throughout the story. He's not someone who can't hold back and thus exploited a passed out person. But he's one to hold grudges. Nao and Sena mix like oil and water, so there's a certain kind of conflict going on between them all the time, even if they love each other at the same time. Like his thoughts revealed, he kissed her so that she would have his first kiss no matter what (even if she didn't know it), which is related to how she doesn't seem to be able to trust he will stick to her now and in the future, not abandoning her.

So, it wasn't a romantic (let alone sexual) kiss, per se, motive wise. Of course since he kissed the girl he loves, it was romantic in other ways, but the motive wasn't.

Yeah... didn't like that very much. "Maybe you should just take it first", except she didn't take it, he forced himself on her while she was passed out drunk. He seems mature, but I guess he still is 15, after all. She trusts him enough to let her guard down like that, but if she finds out he pulled that crap... Just hope it doesn't become a huge drama later.

It doesn't matter in the slightest what his motivations were, whether it was romantic or payback. It's wrong, period. Whoever does it, whenever.

As for this particular manga, I rather enjoy it and Iike the Sena character, but I have a hard time with Nao. We see him hit her twice, he does not seem to have much respect for her, he's borderline bullying her, and we're supposed to accept the idea that it's just his way of loving while it's not that different from how her previous boyfriends treated her.
As it is, there's no way you can condider this a healthy relationship.

So what? You can take any manga longer than a one-shot and chances are there will be things in it that are "wrong". This wrong was already nothing compared to the scumbag guy who added drugs to Sena's drink and was carrying her to the love hotel to rape her. And then following absurb mental gymnastics that same criminal was supposedly allowed to punch Nao in exchange for I have no idea what. Fortunately Sena of all people got sober enough to shatter his family jewels with a kick. By the way, such a kick is also an assault and thus "wrong".

Nao's personality has deep flaws and he's pretty disagreeable. I've been calling him a chuuni edgelord all along. That's just what he is. This isn't really a healthy relationship story, this is an unlikely relationship story, even from the setting of an adult dating a clearly underage partner. But at least this does have their long history playing a part (and the same values of both worshipping Occhi), making this more believable than some other story with no shared past.

And that's the problem with this manga. Since another guy was shown to be such a scumbag (no disagreement there), it seems to imply that Nao's behaviour is OK. Which is not.
Let's not invoke the rest of mangas to excuse this one, 95% of manga is sexist crap anyway, it's not difficult to do better.
But at least the rest doesn't try to pass for something else. Here, the guy is presented as some kind of cool saviour in a romantic comedy with some realistic vibes. And the author seems to pass most of his questionable attitudes as cool or romantic. And that's because there are still so many people thinking like this that there are so many women living miserable lives.

Though I wouldn't know the author's intentions, I don't think it's correct to follow that extremely simplistic train of thought. More like it was just one more example of bad things happening, just much worse. In reality that attempted rape arc was more about demonstrating Sena's inability to take care of herself (or her stupidity, to be blunt), not about laying the foundation for normalising bad things. Again, I wouldn't know the author's true goals and being a guy, I'm not in the intended audience for shoujo manga, but I still dare to say the author is not trying to make Nao a splendid, cool character. His personality has been taken too far. He's as cold as a fish most of the time and is all the time very clearly looking down on Sena. I may not have read a huge amount of shoujo (or josei), but I have read some, and typically the cool guys aren't like Nao here, at least in a setting like this. If he was some vampire lord in an urban fantasy shoujo, then maybe.

Are you talking about the joke hit in that early extra? I don't think I'd count that as hitting her, that sounds so much more serious than what it was.

I agree that this kiss in this chapter was not ok.
