*(I did go back and check the previous chapters, she did NOT say anything yesterday about making a blood pact. I can't read japanese, but am fairly certain she said something more along the lines of "because of your father's blood in me, which I mentioned earlier". That or they have been climbing this mountain for two days now.)

She's saying "I can't come with cuz of the blood pact with your father" and "Like I said yesterday, you'll have to go up alone". It's a period, not a comma. The segmenting of the sentences could've been better, yeah, but they're also a bit limited by the speech bubbles.

I'm kinda curious on what they did in that blood pact for her to get pregnant thou because if that thing Ruri is meeting is tiny relative to the other dragons then her father having sex with her mother is going to be an extreme challenge for them.

Ruri-mama is an attractive woman and I am not adverse to fan service, but I appreciate the author drew realistic outdoor pants on page 11 and not going for the full tight booty shot.

Yep! Honestly, the realism, both in art and behaviour, is what drew me to the oneshot in the first place. I'm a sucker for magical realism and Ruri Dragon provides it in big portions.

Fun fact: even now mom should still have dragon genes inside her body. A fetus is effectively a parasite that invades the mother's uterus and parts of it stays after childbirth, getting absorbed back to the mother.

Guys, firstly, would you talk about sex-ed (with dragons) your high schooler child? Would you talk about how "bad" dragon her father is? [Yes i was dying to make this pun-joke ]

2 - Like a shotgun wedding-type deal?
3 - Less of that phrasing, please.

With 1 she implies that she has yolo'd it.
In 2, Ruri also couldn't ask "You freak of a mother, did you really have sex with a dragon?" So, that is why she asks about shotgun wedding, you know I even checked the definition in order to not make a mistake, wiki directly says "A shotgun wedding is a wedding arranged in response to a pregnancy".
in 3 that is why mother says she don't like phrasing. That implication and her not liking it, makes me think she really did have sex with the dragon.

Honestly i am more interested in the "her choice to gspend the greater chunk of her life dealing with dragons".. What are you doing sister.
Also, you all made me remember the famous OCT song half horse half man; AND I HATE IT BUT WE ARE ALL THIS GUY RIGHT NOW:

It doesn't imply they had sex or they went the Virgin Mary route. Basically Ruri's birth just happened when the two got married.

I do hope it's a Virgin Mary route thou. Japan does like sacrificing Virgins to powerful entities.

Fyi, if you switch the scrolling direction to horizontal then you get 2 page spreads (at least on pc).
