With a friend from uni we failed a project with an 87% once. Turns out it was because both of us needed to turn in a copy of the files for some fucking reason

In high school I didn't know how to use PowerPoint (it wasn't super common back then), so I did all the research, plotted all the slides, and handed the info off to my partner on the project.

The teacher saw him typing things out and I was doing other things, assumed I made him do all the work, and made me pick a separate subject and do the entire report over by scratch. The kid didn't say a goddamn thing in my defense.

should have read the fine print i guess

but ngl getting a failing grade cause of something like that is just a fucking joke. not like they could just have informed you of the missing copies since surely they noticed right away when you turned it in without the copies, no? pretty dumb

The saying "a broken clock is right twice a day" fits this situation. Unless you just don't answer anything, for most tests getting a 0 is as difficult as getting 100%. If it's multiple choice, it might even be harder than getting 100%.
