my guess is she's a sibling or a purely platonic friend. or if she does like him, he doesn't see her that way at all. we know the reason he isn't in a relationship is because of the rules his parents set, but he knows how arisa feels and hasn't actually rejected her, just a "we can't right now". i think arisa has already locked him in it's just a matter of how soon he relents.

No she's not. From what i remember of the WN, she's not even a love rival. She's a tomboy prince like type of girl who is extremely popular and has a large female following. She's also in the same agency as FMC.
MC and her are friends since elementary school, and she is the reason he is not popular with the girls. They all look at her, and don't notice him

Anyway, it will be clear in the next ch, and she will also become friends with FMC...

She is a childhood friend of MC who is also a model/actress/celebrity. MC does not hold any romantic feelings for her at all but it is hinted throughout the light novel that she harbours some romantic feelings towards him. But she recognizes that FMC and MC are good for each other and seems to have decided to not act on her feelings. She and FMC also become friends. There is no drama or love triangle as of current light novel. In fact, she would occasionally help MC and FMC with their relationship.

I think if there's a love triangle it feels like its gong to be this girl going after Arisa.

But I can see that; not true romance but "if we're bth single at 30 might as well get married and start a family".
