This is just my interpretation of the chapter:

Chika has a crazy good sense of taste. At the end of the previous chapter, Souma makes some chocolates which he “put his feelings into”. He then says he can’t let Chika eat them because she’ll taste the romantic feelings he has for her and that those feelings will be made obvious.

At the end of this chapter, Chika tastes the chocolate and learns about Souma’s feelings for her. Overcome with emotions, she leaves his place in tears.
