Thank you so much for translating this chapter.
Poor Chloe. She's fighting battles everyday. I really missed seeing her freaking out and panicking about the deliciousness of fatty foods.
I'm glad that she made a friend. But Himegawa is a terrible influence. She's the very last person Chloe is going to want to be around, if she wants to lose weight. "When tempura is fried, the calories get evaporated, so there's zero calories, you know?" "Didn't you know that because it's hollow inside the macaroni, that they have zero calories?" And she said both statements with such passion, and "innocence". I was dying laughing. I'm guessing that Himegawa probably just has the type of metabolism that makes it very hard for her to gain weight, no matter what she eats. And Chloe (Kuroe) probably has the worst metabolism, where she gains weight easily.
It's going to be very hard for Chloe to lose weight. Especially when she has a lifetime of her new body's bad habits to fight against. If self control in regards to eating, is currently too difficult, the best thing she can start doing, is exercise. Which she likely has no idea about.
I feel so bad for Chloe. It's funny watching her suffer, but she doesn't deserve any of it. It's been a long time since I read the previous chapters, but if my memory serves me correctly, I think she was framed by a subordinate for crimes she didn't commit, and then executed. And then on top of that, she gets reincarnated as a smelly, fat, balding, middle aged man. What did Chloe do to deserve any of this? I'm hoping that some day Chloe will find a way to lose weight, and fix her body odor issue. And I'm hoping that the culprit that betrayed her in her old life, also reincarnated, so Chloe can get some revenge on them. Maybe we'll get some answers from god in the next chapter. God winning a trip to Hawaii is funny, but also suspicious. It implies that they are walking around in human form on earth. I'm really curious to find out their motivation in all of this. That being said, no spoilers please.
