Seems to me that if they are under the wing of the MC they would do well to set up roads and park nearby to benefit from agriculture, save fuel and the inferno wolves patrols.

tbf, the Castle people have no way to self-sustain especially with the fuel thing, even if they can get a lot from Hikaru, one day they still gonna inevitably ran out of them, and they got little to no mean to trade with outside because low value good.
This ended up being something that benefit more for the Castle people(now Village 4), they might be considered as being under Hikaru's ownership, but it's a lot better than inevitable fall of castle. For Hikaru, more friends.

I'd imagine the angel race sorta had some chuuni phase when they were being treated as messengers of gods, aka divine race, then they grew out of it.
Or, this is just a guess on my end, they have a oracle that told them Hiraku actually does know God, so they want wash their hands of the time they called themselves a divine race, as to not offend an actual aquaintance of God.

uuh there no oracle but one of the oldest(literally oldest as in from the age of god and the one who called themselves divine race) Angel that woke up from her hibernation/cold sleep after Hiraku resurrected the world tree is the only one who notices Hiraku's divine power(the tool), she even tried to test Hiraku by attacking from behind, but gets an illusion its she who is impaled by Hiraku's spear
