Now, also funny chapter reactions, after waiting 3-4 years this scene is finally here but back then I had no idea of Liliana origins just that she exist due to Novel chapter skipping, I’m guessing the Person Ji Yue said she got the item from is probably Kerr/Lilith, she is probably the one since she has been helping Bai Ji secretly since the beginning beside Sin Lord & Bird Mask Priest.

I am guessing that item Yi Jue just used might probably be the reason why Bai Ji has access to Bai Jin body once again after losing it by Kerr/Lilith stabbing to allow foreign gods to enter again. Since this could be the only explanation at the time I didn’t know what item this was in the novel but now seeing it look like a Hourglass I can assume this reverse the stabbing snd injuries of Bai Jin body

This chapter adapts Volume 12 Chapter 29-30(part 1) of the Web Novel, everything is the same Manhua didn’t change anything from the novel except speed up things alittle but since they don’t need to narrate what characters are doing nor explain objects due having Manhua panels, it was shorten, also regarding the 2 weeks per chapter Bi Weekly schedule change I assumed it will now take at best 2-3 months before we see Bai Ji return and probably take about 4-5 months before Volume 12 ends from how it would take 5-6-7 chapters before we reach Bai Ji returning in the Manhua after Novel and we currently have 25 novel chapters of content left for Main storyline Volume 12

Honestly my only real complaint so far is the speed at which the series is paced at

It just feels events have been moving a little too fast since leaving the Devourer Realm

I do like though that we’re gonna be getting more focus on Bai Jin/Bai Ming/Liliana though

It kinda the same in the novel so I guess they are trying to wrap Things up very quickly, excluding some cutout content of events dialogues but even with that I do agree that even the novel seem rushed with the story. Like How did we get from Ji Bai Storyline straight to this really early on not to mention so many characters get left out forgotten and no longer establish like the Elves now you only see The Elves Soldiers & MuXing/Twilight Stars/Elf Queen but not the other elves character we seen like the Blue hair girl & Her Father who I guess the Blue hair elf girl was Undying Knight friend of Ji Bai

I'm not exactly sure if the blue haired elf that was with ji bai/bai jin and the undying knight elf are the same person, because I think every elf that appeared so far had blue hair and blue eyes (besides the queen).

Oh wait no, the Elf girl who Ji Bai saved from Ji Yue is I think Undying Knight, not the Elf Girl who disguise as Kerr, because I remember that one scene when I first started reading the Manhua, that was the latest chapter, Bai Ji was spying on Ji Yue only to see Blue Hair Elf taking a bath but to her surprised, she was actually Undying Knight disguising herself from being an Elf
Edit: I just reread those chapters, they are surprisingly 3 different elves Both Undying, Elf pretending to be Kerr & Elf that Bai Ji Rescues. But they both have blue hair for sure

Is it just a thing that of manhua just devolve into absolute nonsense. I haven't followed this for a couple 100 chapters, but at first this was some weird gender swap thing where some male hero gets turned into a loli, and now I don't even know what the hell is this anymore. It was a comedic work, the interactions with the students and even the aunt/cousin were fun. Now its points hand at a general area, whatever the heck this is.

Even 12 goddess/12 demons went off the rails, but at least that retains its comedic charm. I feel like you have solid works with solid ideas, and then I don't know what the term is, they try to "elevate" to something profound but the work just ends up in shambles. It also doesnt help I guess that some of this stuff goes on for so long makes One Piece look an ova short.

I just pray Angry Dragoness is one of the odd men out and bucks the trend.

I think it kinda kept that for a little while but kinda lost it when they started adding the whole Devourer system

Probably also doesn’t help that the Manhau sets up Ji Bai and Bai Ji as two separate people so when Ji Bai disappears it feels weird

Oh yea I remember when back then all we had was 3-4 Order level & that Yana was like a tier 4 Enemy or something and humans are usually stuck at 1st Order Rank, If I remember correctly Class 4 was Sin Lord original rank because they increase it to Devourer Level Enemy, I remember when we started reading this story they introduce class level as the power ranking and as I mention humans

Right, I remember that powerscaling thing they had at the start.
Yeah I think the Sin Lord was like Tier 4, there was a whole thing too during that fight with the dark gulan knight with Lin and Ji Bai asking if Tier 4 or 5 beings really existed or something, I don't remember that well right now. I think vampires were tier 2 while gulans were tier 3 and the blood spirit's royal family were also 3?
There was also that one arc later where those traitor knights tried to summon a tier 4 (or pseudo tier 4 being) by using civilians lives, and the whole thing with summoning the "god" (devourer I guess) of that one race to fight against it.
I just checked while writing this and the earliest chapter where they show the powerscaling image is on the end of chapter 31, but pretty sure they show it again later on.
Edit: The 2nd time they show the powerscaling image again is at chapter 95.

Yea chapter 95 is like one of my most reread/replay chapters in the entire series so it indeed showed the powerscaling for Bai Ji & Lilias but then never showed future characters again except maybe Yana mentioning it during her time as a servent for the Ancestor cult
