It's hard to take it seriously when they shorten 'dream diver' to 'D.', its just silly.
Why did they need to shorten it in the first place? 'Dream diver' already sounds cool.

I preferred the first version of this post when you said D. would most likely be taken to mean "Dick", 'cause a few made that joke when the series came out.
