Heck! I was never a fan, read the work diagonally just to have a gist of it but I’m so invested in it right now.

I mean this is a pretty twisted ending but I don't see Katura Airi doing this to Shinobu, hope I'm not wrong. The JP reader is jumping straight to the outcome to label it as amateur but the execution and journey taken by characters to reach said outcome can elevate it well above amateur level. Right now though I do find it hard to separate fuckboiXSakura if they have developed a more mutual relationship so there's that too unless we character assassinate the fuckboi a bit.

Right now though I do find it hard to separate fuckboiXSakura if they have developed a more mutual relationship so there's that too unless we character assassinate the fuckboi a bit.

I don’t really think that is the case. I think that it’s either that was a one time think or Sakura just uses him for attention and validation. Japanese love the “my body is satisfied but my heart is not.”

The reason is that I think the controversy would explode if she shows that Sakura is in love with fuccboi and both are in a happy relationship. The only way i would see that happening without a major meltdown is if Shinobu is with Fumi, and that would have to be shown in the same chapter.

The fandom is basically split between “throw away the slut and have Shinobu date Fumi” and “Sakura has to cry and pay for what she did.” Let’s how many tanks she will sell if she gives them neither of these.

If he was "perfect" enough to make her spread her legs while in a relationship with Shinobu over a simple misunderstanding, he can surely make her fall in love with him during her terrible and depressing phase (oh no the horrors she is experiencing after seeing shinobu, poor Sakura /s). I like this explanation. "Sex without love" "Love without Sex". I would find it weird if Sakura is suddenly 100% in love with fuccboi but the time skip does obfuscate that quite a bit and we are yet to see.

The movie featuring Shinobu is getting attention with its nationwide release, and Sakura's side is probably finding out about it, and Kyoka might start saying that the director of this movie cheated on her with the actress playing the heroine.

If we were to compare the current state of Granblue Fantasy to Dragon Ball, it would be like Goku, enraged by Krillin's defeat by Frieza, transforming into a Super Saiyan, only to be captivated by Frieza, becoming his slave, and turning into an enemy that destroys Earth. It's such a shock that it would be unbearable for anyone with a normal sense of morality. In that sense, the angry foreigners are probably normal people.

Is there another manga that got destroyed because it went too far on the ntrlike scenes? I know of the examples but Grapara might be more visible due to the series, movies and all the things around it.

Since we are heavily into small time skips that skip important parts, i think we won't continue the last scene, instead get a small skip to them writing the plot, then Shinobu thinks of Sakura and we switch to her POV.

I agree on that. I really cannot see her being happy with her entire situation. She would have been depressed for some time. To immediately move on and continue fucking fuccboi when she was the one distraught does not seem to make sense, unless as a lot of us presumed, she was not into it at all, and she was just in limbo, as we have learned so far that she seemed to only got one role.

For my prediction, we might see Shinobu holding off answering Fumi's confession and tells her to wait abit, or after their film, and it then jumps to Sakura's POV and hopefully we will get her side of the story and her state of mind. As I said before, there is no way she moved on from Shinobu and of what happened to become what we all assumed she is now (Slutkura). I don't and can't really see her initiating anything with fuccboi.

Praying for this to be the case.

Well the last two chapters showed us where the story is now so this chapter should show us where it will go from here granted it just wasn't set up very well time skips are always a copout.
