So... He's crouched behind the angel tiger's head, and sticks a knife into it's neck while it's splatted on the ground... and somehow the angle tiger stands up, walks from in front of him to behind him, and bites him over the shoulder and manages to take off, all before he or anyone else can react? Yeah ok then.

Manga has gone downhill noticeably in details (both art style and the details). Even "basic" chapter story pacing is messed up as well... Like how the hell did the tiger end up behind him (with him jabbing a knife into what looks like the neck vertebrae while kneeling) then bite into him on the clavicle/shoulder in the last 4 pages? Not to mention at that angle in flight, I doubt that wrecked clavicle can support his weight (his shoulder is broken ripped and he loses an entire limb as it is torn off).

But OK, this is a "survival" manga and I'm sure MC is just built differently.
