"You were a gravure model after all" almost sounds like this is her only outstanding quality to this producer. (Look at her surprised pikachu face :kek: )

I like this sentence: "the two who had been thinking of each other". This would imply that his affection for Fumi only grew stronger. :meguu:
now go get your girl :win: she's so much better than Sakura

this would be something to be worried about if it were not for the fact that's Sakura and nothing bad happens to her.

No I'm well aware of her qualities I still want her and him to make it through it all.
Wouldn't mind it, but only if it ends up in a throuple with Fumi as the main girl. Sakura would only get sex on Sundays while Fumi gets every other day. Also one condition is that Sakura must sit in the cuck chair every time Fumi chokes on Shinobu's dragon overlord. After each session, she needs to dogeza and thank the merciful Shinobu and Fumi for allowing her to view the essence of pure love in action. There also needs to be panel of her crying to sleep everyday regretting what she has done.

Extra day of sex allowed if Sakura pushes fuckboi off a cliff and makes fun of his small dick in the process. That's the only way for compromise ;)

Nakanishi-kun and Fumi are two characters introduced in this major arc to show that the romance and intimacy between Shinobu-kun and Sakura, which seemed to have been tempered over the past 100 chapters, are actually fragile—because they lack effective communication—and that this is what things can turn into.

Once the problem has been raised, it naturally needs to be explored how it can be solved. That should be the focus of what comes next.

When an intimate relationship runs into obstacles, if you simply flee to the first person who welcomes you when you are falling apart, the problem is usually only buried, only to become the next trigger point later.
The problems between Sakura and Shinobu-kun have merely been suppressed by two people who are better at silence than anyone else. They have not been truly resolved.

If the author had introduced only Fumi, then Sakura would have been passively found by Shinobu-kun, and the two of them would have continued on while appearing united but being estranged at heart. The problem would still have been postponed. This time, the author chose to introduce better, superior substitutes for both of them at the same time, making avoidance incredibly convenient for both sides, and even creating the illusion that this is the optimal solution.

On the night Sakura cheated, Shinobu-kun was still imagining that everything would be fine as long as they properly cleared things up the next time they met. During the depressive period that followed, I wonder whether he can understand this: if problems are not actively clarified and resolved at every moment when they arise, then once they accumulate to a certain extent, there may no longer be such a merciful window of time that lets you wipe the slate clean.

But that doesn't apply to Shinobu at all? He didn't immediately flee to Fumi. It took him months to move on. He also actively tried to resolve the misunderstanding the moment it arose. He only imagined resolving things the next day...because he literally have no choice since the other person won't respond. This feels more like a lesson Sakura should be learning rather than Shinobu. The latter handled the situation in a much better way than the former. I don't understand why you're making him the main problem at hand. There are lessons he can learn from the cheating affair, but it's not this.

The more appropriate lesson for him to learn is how to work with his partner to PREEMPTIVELY deal with certain conflicts. For example, steps on what to do if a misunderstanding arises and rules both partner should follow to protect the relationship. They can even find a trusted friend that can help meditate when problems arise and entrust him/her with stopping them from doing dumb things without communicating.

People that really want Sakura to suffer are kinda weird. The whole manga is an excuse for porn scenes, it's not that serious.

The MC started being super distant, Wouldnt even have sex with her anymore, then she saw him and another girl kissing, 99% of the time that is someone legitimately cheating.

Also don't forget the new FMC also was giving up her body for money by the 'tickle' guy. Both girls are kinda dumb and go with the flow in the moment.

Weird Incel-like hate on what is basically a porn manga is weird.

People who want Sakura to suffer just for the sake of it are weird, but so is your incredibly reductive comment regarding Shinobu's actions, the way you describe it is pretty ridiculous as if assigning blame on him.

Absolutely nothing Shinobu did warranted being cheated on, Sakura simply did not have the fortitude to simply press him for answers about the kiss, and not once Sakura expressed she was feeling Shinobu became too focused on the project, she bottled everything and let it blow over with Yuma seeing the perfect opportunity to make his advance.

Worst of all is what she did afterwards, Sakura didn't throw Yuma off for taking advantage of her the day after, erasing any chance she didn't partially consent or thought Yuma was solely to blame for it, nor ran to Shinobu to explain herself, Sakura simply took that as a sign she really should break up with Shinobu, since in her tiny little mind both of them have cheated so there is no saving their relationship, thus cutting all ties with him through text.

That is the most cowardly act anyone can ever take when breaking up, if you ever valued a relationship that is, telling someone off through text is what you do to one-night stands whose name you don't even know. Not the person you had an actual relationship with, you know, the guy who got injured for you?

A sensible expectation is wanting Sakura to be confronted for her series of poor choices and assumptions without ever having the minimal common sense to actually have a serious conversation with her supposed boyfriend to either confirm her fears or erase them, Sakura choose to assume the worst possible and didn't bother patch things up when she made a grave mistake.

But of course, this is a Katsura Airi series, I would be fooling myself by expecting her flawed female characters to be faced with serious moments of self-reflection or accountability, if that happens it would be a major surprise.

You’re reading a manga literally advertised as NTR romcom and complaining about incles? They’re the target audience.
also, nothing you said justified Shinobu getting cheated in and then casually abandoned for someone else immediately. Cheaters don’t deserve anything but pain and that’s what Sakura should get.

I agree. Shinobu’s current situation is completely fine in terms of public opinion, because he received Fumi’s comfort and closeness after a normal breakup. Besides, he has always liked Fumi; it was only his sense of responsibility that made him keep things within limits.

However, he is still making a passive choice, and in this respect he bears a subtle resemblance to Sakura: both of them wait until external pressure accumulates enough potential energy, and then simply let things happen.

The only difference is that Sakura’s pace was controlled by the proactive, action-oriented Nakanishi, so serious problems arose right away.

As for Shinobu, two minutes earlier he had unconsciously mentioned that “Sakura is also a pretty good cook,” and the next minute Fumi took the initiative — a mirrored offensive to Nakanishi’s — and he was immediately won over.

Neither Sakura nor Shinobu directly expressed what they were truly thinking before intimacy occurred; they lacked the courage to communicate. Both of them defaulted to thinking, “With the atmosphere like this, there’s nothing I can do,” and passively endured it. Sakura was looking at the omamori charm on the floor, while Shinobu heard Fumi say, “Even if it’s for the sake of filming the movie, please get to know me better.”

If Fumi had not taken the initiative, Shinobu would have continued returning to his own place, waiting for some major life-changing event to happen. He clearly likes Fumi too, and he knows how she feels, yet he still chooses to wait for the other person to pose the question and then see what convenient options he has.

But if, after this intimate encounter, Shinobu can seriously plan out his relationship with Fumi, then that will show he has truly grown. Only then will the problems of the past not be so easily carried into a new relationship.

I think the consensus is that people just want Sakura to regret. Ofc there are the few who do want Sakura to suffer. I too think that’s far fetched. But as it stands now. Sakura is pretty hated by the audience as an FMC in a RomCom where normally the FMC isn’t a hated figure. This can’t be sustainable for Airi especially if she attempts to get Sakura back with Shinobu. She could expect heavy backlash. Hell the JP audience are calling Fumi an FMC.

So far its looking a full speed ahead for Fumi route ending, but we did get an interesting development over on Sakura's side of things with Nagi coming into the picture and re-establishing a connection with Sakura. Chapter ends with Shinobu about to seal the deal with Fumi and no one with a sane mind would think anything could stop this course from completion buuuut....thats a question for 133 which is a bit of a cop out answer, anything can still happen, and 132 mirrors 128 quite closely like Arysis posted here.

Alright now I'm gonna say what I wanted to say in 131.

Who here is hoping Nagi will literally SLAP some sense into Sakura when she hears about the break up and why they broke up??
She may just show up and exchange contact. Nothing more. We may expect too much that Airi Katsura sensei will write a clever story.

Agree. I don't trust the author too.

So it bothers you that Shinobu didn't waste time remembering the things he did with Sakura and moved on with his life? Oh really? It is worth remembering a person who threw you away like a disposable tissue and did not even finish you off in front of you, but through a third party and phone messages. No friend, stop that masochism.

they're confusing that with "romanticism".
Do i have to remind them that SlutKura didn't have the decency to break things up with her boyfriend? she sent a message on LINE and *likely sent her fuckboi to deal with the consequences.
She was cruel, cold and didn't feel a thing for Shinobu.
I think you need to relax a little. 😇

What part of what I said makes these responses make any sense?
"I think it would've been better if the foreplay was cut with scenes of the ML remembering moments from the time skip that he spent with her. Each kiss, each stroke, is in a way revealing to him that he has had love this entire time. By the time Fumi is laying down and ready to accept him into her, he has come to accept her into him. Something like that gets to the same point but changes the context of the scene.

Basically, foreplay -> date memory -> foreplay -> date memory -> Passionate, lovemaking."
[emphasis added]
🧐

He has been shown to be thinking of Sakura throughout the time-skip. I would rather this scene show that Fumi has been there for him and that their relationship had been steadily growing. The fog (the breakup) he was in was obscuring the promised land (a devoted girl). The "passionate, lovemaking" would be the climax of them getting together, not the start of it. You guys are too obsessed with posting comments to read. Take some time off from raging about ntr and read something else to calm down.

This actually would've worked pretty well, I'm seeing what you're suggesting, but the problem is I don't think Shinobu and Fumi even once met during the few months time skip (please correct me if I'm wrong) and it was only when the producer and Shinobu's friend setup a meeting to discuss the movie project did they reunite, and why Shinobu had to explain the breakup with Sakura to her as well in this chapter. Overall I agree with your point that this jump from confession into seggs can feel a bit "rushed" but a good portion of the fans have been wanting a win for Shinobu given the past few chapters and Fumi is the current fan favorite so in a way it works, but its not perfect.

I also read it as they didn't spend much, if any, time together. That's part of the problem imo. The immediate cause-and-effect is ML mentions ex -> Fumi throws herself at him -> Foreplay commences. It's not so much rushed as just bad writing, since there isn't anything to rush. The author wrote herself into a corner by having them be separated for several months so they couldn't have any budding romance. Which diminishes the catharsis of them finally coming together.
I'm glad it wasn't a failure on my part to communicate.
:bocchiwave:

Most diabolical next chapter: ML thrusts in, Ex calls, he ends and answers.
I almost want it to happen just to see the meltdown. That would be the peak of the series.
